Placentia is best described as a quaint bedroom community located east of Fullerton and west of Yorba linda. It is a safe quiet town with good schools making it a great place for families. Housing prices are moderate as compared to other cities in Orange County and the downtown area known as Pacita-Santa Fe has many great Mexican restaurants that attract people from all over to eat. Placentia is also home to several parks includnig Tri City Park which is a great place walk around and picnic.
A $20,000,000 metrolink project is scheduled to start in the downtown area in 2013 and is part of the continued revitalization of this city. More transit-oriented housing is scheduled to complement the train station, along with mixed use, retail and entertainment.
